Series Project #2

Series Project #2 - Draft 2

For this draft, I decided to focus more on the face of Kate, rather than capturing different angles of her. I wanted her emotions to come through the lens and to transfer to the people looking at them. In some of these photos she is relaxed, in others she is wondering. All of these photos come together to attempt to show the essence of Kate.

  1. This photos are great! I love all of them, I think you really got "the essence of Kate" and showed a lot of diverse approaches to her. My favorite image would have to be the third image. Great job!

  2. This is a very interesting series and I think you did a great job developing these portraits to reveal emotions. I like the different angles and perspectives that you captured these images to bring out emotion. I think all are successful.

  3. I really like your 3rd photo because of how I can sense or feel her emotion. I think that you did a great job of showing her feelings and emotions through the images you capture.

  4. I really thought you made these images change and look better than the ones before. I like your third image and how it brings out your point, i think you should stick with more images like that

  5. I really like these photos, but I felt like they were a little less unique then the original pictures. I think the subject matter was interesting, but you didn't use the light as much, or different angles.

  6. this is progressing well. images #1 and #3 seem to be the most authentic. i sense she is present -in spite of the camera- rather than because of the camera. you might work with her with these techniques as you continue: engage in conversation and capture true expressions as she talks about various aspects of her experiences. look for body language as well as face. the bracelet image isn't cohesive with the others. looking forward to seeing more!
